Registration Authority
The Science Council’s Registration Authority (RA) is responsible for upholding the standards of the Chartered Scientist designation. Its membership is comprised of elected representatives from the Licensed Bodies and appointed experts from other areas. It meets four times a year, reporting to the Science Council Board, and is chaired by Professor Bob Chaplow who succeeded Dr Alun Jones in July 2009.
